EDIT;
THANKS NEW YORK AIRPORT SERVICE WEBSITE FOR FINALLY WORKING
thankfully the bus leaves way earlier u_u
So the problem isn't so bad now, lol, xD Sorry to bother.
/END EDIT

SO ANYWAY

ON A WAY COOLER TOPIC?:
I am thinking of doing a personal project soon of animal deity myths. Not the Aesop fables animal stories but like, how Raven stole the sun and Coyote putting the stars in the sky and that sort of thing. Do you guys have any personal favorites you'd like to see?

+ that beta tester feature with the user pages is cool.

Mirai said something about crow-people in japanese mythology (yes, I went for the crows ^^; would you expect anything less?)... Other than that... Um... maybe something with shapeshifters? All the old stories about women wearing the skins of seals, or swans, that sort of thing? *shrugs* Egyptian, Babylonian, that sort of stuff plz :aww:

Right, you're coming back for break! That's going to be awesome; things are kind of going to hell in club right now (very long story), but it'll be great that you're here-- it would be fun to see you again! :D

Crow people sound really cool. o_o I have never heard of that before.

And yes, I am here in the fabulous bay area! But I think you guys are already out of class? :'/ Maybe there can be some kind of party so I can see you all again, or something lawlz. xD

Yeah, that would be nice :D Getting everyone together might be kind of complicated... Things are sort of split in half in terms of CHAOS right now >.< But we should try. It would be good to see everyone again, and I think most everyone is in town at the moment.

I don't know what the crow-people are called, but I want to find out; like I said, another gem from the infinite stash of Mirai-knowledge. :D

Native American myths (Octopus drowning Coyote, or... oh... can't remember any of the others) Or going into greek ones like creation of Harpies or Medusa, who, I guess, doesn't really qualify. Nemean Lions, or some of the Egyptian ones or Norse ones (like Fenrir!), or Japanese folklore like kitsune. Actually, kitsune are really cute! I'd advise getting a good mythology atlas from the library.

Coyote putting stars in the sky *thumbs up*. Gunnerkrigg Court just mentioned it, so I thought it's cool that you mention it. I'd love to see your take on the animal deities.

It would have been more boring if Coyote hadn't messed up the sky, don't you think?

I just started reading that and I have to say I LOVE the way Coyote is depicted. But I think I'll do a more realistic interpretation. xD

I do love the comic ever so much.

But I'd love to see your rendition of how that happened. Can't wait!

Would you do anything about rabbits? You could try your hand on the one about the rabbit in the moon.

I love rabbits very much. A jumping one would be fun to draw too, I imagine rabbits + the moon would make for a very nice color scheme. xD

I'm watching you and I live in NYC! :)

Honestly, it really depends on what airline you're on.. I've gotten to JFK like, an hour ahead of time and had a full 40 minutes left to kill.. but other airlines insisted that I checked in 45 minutes ahead of time... If you're not checking any luggage and you're on a domestic flight, you really shouldn't have any issues-- just make sure you have your 3 ounce and below liquids in a plastic ziplock bag, electronics out, shoes off, etc-- and you'll get through security within 10-20 minutes usually :)
