edit;
Nevermind what I said about fanart...
Corel Painter just fucking corrupted my fanart sketches file.

TODAY'S LESSON: ALWAYS SAVE BACKUPS and for the love of god don't put all your sketches in one file.
Or don't use Painter.
MOTHERFUCKERRRRRRR this is just the sort of thing to happen to me.
Oh well. I'M SELLING ORIGINAL ART AT CONS PROFIT BE DAMNED. /edit
This journal was basically useless. The only important part is that yesterday I bought myself a used PS2 and I'd really appreciate game suggestions. I bought Suikoden III and Radiata Stories to start me off since they didn't have ToA at my Gamestop. Yes, I know.... u__u; I am RPG dork. Sweaty armpits and acne included.

Seriously.

Hee, that's fun to say.
Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, aka 'Nocturne.' Same company as wut did Persona.. and now I think on it, I think that the full title of any of the '
Actually, anything Atlus is a damn good bet, for an RPG.
Grim Grimoire is weird, but beautiful and fun, if you like strategy RPGs.
Odin Sphere! OH, JUST PLAY IT NOW.. not a true RPG, but ridiculously fun, and the storyline was just plain awesome. I wanted to play it all over again, just to get more story.
Final Fantasy XII; fun, and one game will last you all year.
Dragon Warrior VIII, if you like the old-skool turn-based RPGs.
Resident Evil 4 - just plain fun game, if you're into the shooty stuff.
If you happen to like horror / survival horror, play any of the Silent Hill games..
... mmm... play 2 or 3 first. 2 is better, but not by much, and 3 is also fantastic. 4 has awesome moments, but you really have to love the Silent Hill formula to slog through the stupid parts.
If you've ever played Magic: the Gathering or in general are open to the idea of card-based combat, try Culdcept. Hell, try Culdcept anyway, it's cheap. Like a combination of Magic and Monopoly - addictive, if you're into the formula.
As far as games go... Any of the Final Fantasy's, Any of the Persona games (Though Persona 3 and 4 are the better ones), Any of the .hack// games. Star Ocean is good, as is Chrono Cross (PS 1 game, but oh well). Those are the ones I've personally got, and I love them. I haven't played much else, since I want to get finished with these ones, but they're good starts. XD
(I'm an RPG dork too, so you're not alone!)
And buy a generous amount of prints, hopefully.
ff8 was my favourite of the series [7 fans please don't beat me up, you're a much rowdier bunch than i am prepared to deal with..], and star ocean was good too. maybe it was star ocean 2? i don't remember.
You know, for someone who considers himself a RPG fan, I just realized I haven't played many.
Good luck with your con shenanigans. I'd totally buy something original from you, were I a con-goer. Unfortunately, the only nearby con that's happening anytime soon involves farm trucks, wine and cow poop.
..... what kind of convention is THAT? o_o
